As soon as we opened the box, kinetic sand quickly became one of our favourite sensory rich materials for play. It made our list of favourite non-food items for sensory play back in 2014. It truly is amazing stuff and so versatile! Recently we found a new way to play with our kinetic sand.
Of course everyone knows how perfect kinetic sand is for molding 3D shapes with. We used some of these geometric 3D shapes in our kinetic sand which was lots of fun.

The real fun started though after they had made several different 3D shapes and then started drawing on them. Their imaginations ran wild! I love that my children continue to look at things with open minds and then their creativity shines.
